We had a wonderful time. Want to give a BIG shout out to Jeff who our dogs loved and looked for everyday for their snack!!! He was always so friendly and helpful in every way.

Good people in office and maintenance. Cable TV could use an upgrade. Fuzzy/ snowy picture on most channels.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Cherokee/ Great Smokies KOA. The staff was friendly and helpful. The campsites were very nice and spacious and level. The area stunningly beautiful. We definitely would stay here again and recommend it highly.

I came there to ride the trails at Fire Mountain and was very impressed with how nice and neat the campground was. The outdoor furniture was much nicer than expected as well. The numerous caged in areas looked like they would be great for pets. We will be back!

The cabins are very nice. They need some upgrades.in cabin 509 there's a soft spot going in the bathroom.

We were in cabin 510. Ants were everywhere. Kitchen counter, table, bathroom counter, couch and bed. Bed was uncomfortable and inconvenient as one side was next to wall. We bought spray for ants which seemed to help. Outside temp got cool Saturday night. Would have liked to have a little heat from gas fireplace which didn’t work. We normally stay here in our own RV but brought relatives with us

We have only been a few times but there is no other place id recommend family with kids stay other then here. Everyone is so kind and friendly . When we get the extra time and money we will be there.

Love the indoor pool & hot tub! Even if it’s raining it gives the kids something to do. They have great activities for kids & adults. Kim Perkins made our stay extra special! We found a leak in the camper & she helped us upgrade to a cabin so we didn’t have to lose a night due to camper issues!!! Thank you so much!!!!!

Only problem was unavailable hot tub on part of visit and store closes too early. Fishing licenses, ice cream and ice should be available at least to 7:00 pm. Overall, great, as usual.

Really enjoyed. Weekend was really active when we got there but weekday was very nice. Would definately go back there again. My only gripe would be that employees and others on golf carts would observe the park speed limit. Other than that i would recommend to anyone looking for rv space. We stayed at another camp down the road a year ealier and this was so much nicer.

Was great except for the bed bugs we got! We stayed in cabin 30 and came home with bug bed bites all over us!!! Please fix this!!

When we checked into our cabin it was being worked on no heater in living area they brought us a space heater we had ants everywhere in bedroom crawling in the bed on head board side tables and kitchen sink and counters were covered we brought ant baits but didn't work we loved our stay other than that we love to come back

We had an amazing time. It was such a wonderful place. We are already talking with our children to plan a big family trip to your camp ground. So much to do around there. I'm so glad we chose Cherokee,NC. for my birthday get away.

We had an awesome time. The cabin was clean and it had everything we needed plus some. We have stayed here many times either in our motorhome or by renting a cabin. The staff here is so professional and efficient. We will always return to the Cherokee KOA. We highly recommend Cherokee KOA!

Wonderful campground! Loads of amenities, terrific setting, clean bathrooms and campsites. Great camp store, too! We look forward to returning soon. One suggestion: the women’s bathhouse nearest our site has a trip hazard at the entrance. There’s a slightly raised row of tiles which caused me to stumble and which could cause a fall. The lights inside the bathhouse don’t come on immediately.

In a great location for sure. Base of Smokey mountains and about 4 miles from Cherokee. Casino is close by good mountain biking. KOA has a lot of family big games to play indoor pool and fishing right at the campground.

Stayed in Felix cabin near creek at back of resort. Nice deck/patio and grill. Very relaxing. Indoor pool and hot tub seemed to be a little outdated. Outdoor facilities look very nice (but still closed when we were there). Comfy bed and nice kitchenette area with everything we needed. Tub did not drain well and there were many small ants in the cabin - maybe from rain they had in recent days

The property was very nice and you can’t beat the beautiful view from our deluxe 2 bedroom cabin but we had issues with no hot water in the shower. Someone came out to fix it but was told the barely like warm water was normal but others in our group had hot water in their showers. The cabin was not as clean as it could have been and we had issues with ants.

Very good stay - wonderful location. Of concern however is the ramp condition (wood rot and exposed hole that is a HAZARD) Also Unit 237 is missing siding and the wood studs and underlayment are exposed. Weather infiltration and critters have access to the exterior wall. We love this place HOWEVER Please take care of your wonderful facilities...237 is in need of major maintenance and repairs

We stayed in one of the two room cabins, wow. Wonderful, had all the amenities so we could cook, even watch TV if we wanted. A huge facility, well maintained, and right on the river. It was perfect. We had outdoor seating for a campfire, and any amenity you could possibly imagine. My only concern is that check in for a cabin is four pm, and the office closes at five, too short a window.

We traveled with adult friends we each had cabins side by side. Gorgeous river front views from the deck. Cabins were comfortable and comforts of home. We all enjoyed our stay and wish to have stayed longer. Will definitely return.

We come here every year for a yearly family camping trip. This time we were able to get a site side my side which was proven to be difficult in the past. We love this place!

Absolutely love this campground! So much for my grandchildren to do, just amazing! Clean cabins and campsite, we rented both in our week here. Very accommodating staff, they will help you with just about anything!

Awesome time, spent with my brother. We had a good site on the river. Very peaceful and relaxing. The place was very clean The trout fishing was awesome. Will definitely be back soon

This is a great KOA and camping spot in general! The staff were extremely helpful from pre-arrival to late check-in, and all onsite needs once we were there. We rented a deluxe cabin which was well appointed. The location is just far enough out of downtown Cherokee to be quiet and serene yet just a few minutes drive and you're right at the Oconolufte visitor's center in GSMNP. We requested help with getting a cooking grill grate added to our campfire ring and not only did the office staff kindly request it, but it was already swapped out by the time we walked back to our cabin.
